Shipping policy
Bauzaunwelt Inc. – Orders & Shipping Terms
All orders are processed within 24–48 hours. Please ensure all customer and delivery information is accurate before completing checkout. Bauzaunwelt Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect customer data.
Shipping Origin
All products are currently shipped directly from our European production facilities. Delivery time to the United States is approximately 4 weeks, depending on port, customs clearance, and domestic freight carrier availability.
We are in the process of integrating U.S.-based warehouse locations. Once active, domestic orders will ship within 2–5 business days.
Minimum Order Requirements
Certain palletized products — including the MTP15 system and complete fence sets — require minimum quantities.
Large-volume orders of 200 m (656 ft) or more qualify for:
- Free Nationwide U.S. Delivery (once U.S. warehousing is operational)
- Factory-direct pricing
- Priority production scheduling
Freight Shipping (Europe → USA)
Shipments follow a multi-stage process:
- Export freight from Europe
- Ocean or air transport
- U.S. port handling & customs clearance
- Domestic LTL freight to the final address
Shipping can be arranged under the following INCOTERMS:
- FOB Europe – customer arranges ocean freight
- CIF USA – Bauzaunwelt arranges ocean freight to U.S. port
- Door-to-door service – on request
Tracking information is provided once the shipment leaves our facility.
Pallet Delivery Inside the United States
Commercial Locations
- No delivery appointment required
- Customer must unload pallets using a forklift or loading dock
Residential or Non-Dock Locations
- Liftgate service is required
- Liftgate lowers the pallet to curbside (no indoor placement)
Truck Access
Freight carriers typically use 40–53 ft semi trucks. Customers must inform us of access limitations (narrow roads, gated areas, limited turning space). Additional fees may apply for re-delivery or special routing.
Receiving Freight Deliveries
Before signing the delivery receipt:
- Inspect all pallets for visible damage
- Take clear photos of packaging and product
- Note any issues on the delivery receipt
Do not refuse delivery unless instructed by Bauzaunwelt Inc.
Damage must be reported within 48 hours, including photos, order number, and delivery receipt. Products must be retained for up to 60 days for carrier inspection.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature and size of construction fencing, returns are generally not accepted unless:
- Incorrect product was shipped
- A manufacturing defect is confirmed
- Documented freight damage occurred
Custom pallet builds, mixed configurations, and used items cannot be returned. If a return is approved, restocking and freight charges may apply.
Back Orders
If an item is unavailable, customers will be notified of European production lead times or upcoming U.S. warehouse availability. Partial shipments may be arranged upon request.
Future U.S. Warehousing
Bauzaunwelt Inc. is expanding into multiple U.S. warehouse locations to reduce delivery times and lower domestic freight costs. Customers will be informed once these locations are operational.
