Thank you for shopping with Bauzaunwelt Inc. We supply professional mobile fencing, accessories, and temporary site equipment. Because some of our products are heavy, shipped by freight, or custom-packed, we use a clear return policy to protect both you and us.
1. General Policy
You may request a return within 14 days from the date of delivery if the item meets all of the following conditions:
- Item is unused, not assembled, and in original packaging (incl. pallets, brackets, or protective parts if applicable).
- Item is not a custom-made or special-order product.
- You can provide proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or Shopify confirmation).
Important: Please contact us before sending anything back. Unauthorized or freight-collect (C.O.D.) returns may be refused.
2. How to Request a Return (RMA)
- Contact us at returns@bauzaunwelt.com (or use the contact form in the store).
- Tell us your order number and the reason for return.
- If the product arrived damaged or defective, please include clear photos of the damage and the packaging.
- We will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return address.
- Ship the product back using a trackable carrier or freight service.
Bauzaunwelt Inc. is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return shipment.
3. Restocking Fee
All approved returns (not caused by our error) are subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover inspection, repacking, and warehouse handling.
The restocking fee may be waived if:
- we shipped the wrong item, or
- the item was confirmed defective on arrival.
4. Freight, Heavy & Oversized Items
Many of our products (e.g. mobile fence panels, bases, transport pallets) are shipped by LTL or freight. In these cases:
- Original outbound freight charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Returned freight must be properly palletized and secured.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Send us:
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the packaging / pallet
- Delivery receipt (if signed with “damage” noted)
After review we will, at our discretion:
- send a replacement part or item, or
- issue a full refund (incl. shipping) if a replacement is not possible.
Damage reported after 48 hours may not be accepted due to carrier claim rules.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom-fabricated products or special import items
- Sale / clearance / final items
- Used, assembled, or modified products
- Products with missing parts or original packaging
- Items damaged due to improper installation or misuse
7. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the credit.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error.
8. International Orders (Import / Export)
For shipments outside the United States:
- All duties, taxes, and brokerage fees already paid are non-refundable.
- Returns must be sent prepaid and correctly declared.
- We do not accept “freight collect” returns.
9. Legal Basis (Nevada & U.S.)
This Return & Refund Policy is intended to comply with applicable U.S. consumer and e-commerce principles, including:
- Federal Trade Commission (FTC) – Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435)
- Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 598 – Unfair Trade Practices
All sales, returns, and disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA. Place of performance and jurisdiction is Las Vegas, Nevada.
Note: This policy is a business-oriented U.S. return policy and does not constitute German/EU consumer withdrawal rights.
